ASTA provided TS Marine a long term integrated VSAT solution on both vessels (REM Etive, Havilla Harmony) consisting of dual switching (2 per vessel), SeaTel 4009 KuBand antennas and high grade bandwidth for the Australasia region on the GE23 Satellite. Clough Helix JV - Delivering a complete communication system with bandwidth management between networks and VoIP systems. ASTA was engaged by Clough Helix JV to create an end to end communication solution to allow the Normand Clough to converse easily with their head office located in Perth Western Australia whilst providing a separate network for the Helix JV users. Haines Surveys - Several of Haines’ 22 field technicians have been using BGAN for the past 12 months to send ASCII files back to the office via email. Working in pairs, they move methodically across a pre-defined area, taking readings using gravimeters and GPS antennas. At the end of each day, they spend about five minutes transmitting the data they have collected via BGAN, sending as much as 3MB in one go. Download full story below.

Offshore Unlimited - AST Australia installs the first Thrane & Thrane SAILOR 90 (Satellite TV Antenna) in Australian waters on Offshore Unlimited’s vessel, Limitless. Limitless works in an remote part of Australian waters, where there is very limited access for free to air TV. Offshore Unlimited made the decision for crew and client welfare to install a quality satellite TV system on board this new vessel. Download full story below.
