Sales & Business Development Executive

AST Australia is the Asia Pacific headquarters for an International Communications Group of Companies. Our company is a leader in the satellite communications industry, priding itself on supplying first class sales and technical solutions on a global scale to a wide variety of clientele.

 
We are looking to appoint a self motivated dynamic Sales Professional to join our friendly team, based in Osborne Park.
 
Reporting to the Sales Director your main responsibility will be;
  • Business development - to generate new business in Corporate, Govt and Private enterprise sectors.  Working within a team environment, you will be required to follow up on referrals,generate your own leads and maximize every opportunity!
  • Cold Calling
  • Face to Face interaction with clients
  • Meeting sales targets
 
Requirements needed to excel in this position include;
  • Previous sales experience - knowledge in IT / telecommunications industry is not essential but would be highly desirable.
  • Cold calling experience
  • Excellent communication, organisational and 'attention to detail' skills
  • Be computer literate with sounds administration skills
  • "Can do" - "hit the ground running" attitude !
 
In house training will be provided, however, you will need to possess the necessary skill set required to enable to you learn about the technical aspects of the products.
 
This is an exciting and interesting role in a growing niche' market business.
 
A salary commensurate to applicants experience and qualification will be negotiated.
